A linocut of Siena town square as seen from the top of the town hall's tower. As is tradition, every year the locals take to the streets in & around the square to witness a spectacular horse race which takes part in those very streets. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the race but given how narrow & windy these streets were I can imagine it's a scary affair for both participants & spectators alike
