When I was in primary school the creator, JOHN RYAN, of the then famous cartoon Captain Pugwash came to our school. Whilst he gave a talk he nonchalantly drew a scene including many of the characters he'd created for the show. I was in awe of the skill, wit & dexterity in which he executed the piece & have cherished the moment ever since. Pirate ship linocut
